Handle With Care Registry

If you live in Erie County New York, this message is for you!

The Erie County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with NAMI-NYS, introduced an extremely helpful resource, the Handle with Care Registry.

This registry aims to equip deputies and emergency responders with the information they need to deliver better care for your loved ones.

Caregivers can use the registry to share information about special needs, such as Autism, Down Syndrome, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, or Substance Use Disorders.

A handicap tag can be a game-changer, providing safer parking options and easier access to support when you need it most!
